GEPEC specifies and disseminates examples of dental care that are human-centered. GEPEC was established as a nonprofit organization in 2003 to certify education in health care procedures and design of health care facility components that are based on the interaction between proprioceptors of the human body and the kinesthesia of the brain. The GEPEC acceptability rating identifies products passing the highest ergonomic scrutiny. The GEPEC approval of a continuing education course assures the participant of learning body positions and use of their fingers and eyes for safe dental procedures that protects the well being of dental operators and that of their patients. Proprioceptively derived (pd) skill is simply the most ergonomic condition in which to work. The GEPEC position technology and treatment technology promoted on this website assures the user of the environment best suited for the use of his/her body while perforrming dental care procedures.
